Got a box of American Eagle 64 grn tracers for Xmas.
Will they damage the bore at all ?

Modern tracers will not damage your bore. Modern stuff like M856 is designed to light a distance from muzzle, and no tracer chemical ever comes in contact with the bore.

I always loaded them in a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio (ball:tracer) at MG shoots. And yes indeed, be careful re fire potential.
