I am looking for production date for the above rifle. I can't read some of the codes on the barrel. I of course have the serial no. Thanks

Couple of tricks I’ve used when I can’t make out the serial numbers, either from light impressions or small numbers (like S&W used pre-war)

-Rub a stick of chalk across the numbers. It fills in some of the lighter impressions.

-Take a photo with your phone and then enlarge it.

Some of those Remington barrel codes seems the workers were tired or drunk when they stamped them.
