Beautiful H&R M1 Garand. Made in 54. With a beautiful LMR barrel. Functions and shoots great.
LMR Barrel gages M +1.5. T +2 Serial Number is in the 556mil range

Everything is H&R with the exception of the LMR barrel (this is the original barrel to the rifle) and Safety. The safety is an SA while it is know that H&R used SA parts on early rifles, this maybe a replacement part or it could be original. Stock is a post War walnut. No markings. All metal looks good. Can email or text pics

$1,400 firm Local pic up only Helena MT

Agree with blairvt but nice to offer here as many folks don't go over there. For those thinking why not just order from CMP? The good old days are gone and the luck of the draw has never been more true with the Korean returns. Chances of getting a pitted receiver are more the norm these days. This is a good one.

Thanks. Definitely a very beautiful gun in good used condition. Not trying to price gouge but near complete H&Rs and complete H&Rs are going for $1300-1600 even on the CMP forums

Unfortunately no. Only place I can ship through local is an FFL so it'll be about $150 without insurance. Then I gotta hope the carrier doesn't drag the file across the parking lot
