No laces for me. Like slip on mucks or a nice 5 buckle overboot with my fleece mocs.

Something satisfies the primal medulla oblongata lacing up a pair of boots.

Like waking up to the smell of frying bacon, brewing coffee and being on stand before sun up.

Thoughts.... They work great.
Opinions.... How can anyone be too lazy to tie laces but not too lazy to eat a jelly doughnut.?.?
Discuss... They are a great invention.

Laces that do not stay tied are my pet peeve.
Also if they are too long or short.
My Keene's have good laces but are too long and have to be double knotted and my Merrill's strings won't stay tied, again, have to be double knotted.
Does anyone know a replacement brand that is good quality?

A couple of thoughts:
1) Why the conspiracy between the makers of footwear and the makers of shoe laces that the lace people will make a specific length of lace as original equipment, but not sell that exact length as replacements?
2) The only purpose for round laces is to come untied.

A corollary:
Hooks on boots is one of the stupidest damned ideas to ever be hatched.
