Very lightly used Vedder outside the waistband kydex pancake style holster with full sweat shield and screw retention for the S&W SHIELD 9mm. Has upgraded wing style clips for 1.5" belt. The outside face is black carbon fiber and the back panel is police blue in color. Should fit both the original Shield and the 2.0 Shield. My gun snaps in perfectly as the holster is molded to an exact fit. New from Vedder these are $89.99 plus $5.00 for the upgraded clips. Will this marr the finish on the pistol? I have one that is similar but different make that I had to quit using because it did.

It is kydex. Eventually all holsters wear the finish on a pistol, kydex included. I use both kydex and leather holsters and in my experience kydex probably does wear on a gun more so than a good high quality leather holster. I would say use your best judgement. With run of the mill using guns like M&P and Glock I have never concerned myself with finish wear. Some people pay extra money for that "battle worn" look, even on brand new in the box firearms.
