I was one of the first life members.
Started out well and was able to do product testing.
I have not heard anything from them in quite a while.

Never joined, but got the membership application and the little medallion/ zipper pull/fob doo dad thingy and the scratch pad about every other week. Them and some other somebody that sent a similar package. The scratch pads were a handy size. I still have a few. The little metal things are probably in a drawer here somewhere

Yep, I was a lifetime member but haven't heard a word from them for some time.
Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

My wife and I field tested some kind of funky "turkey call" when we were both moderators on the old "All Outdoors" forums- - - -something like 25 years ago. The thing was worse than useless. Never got suckered into sending them any money.

Was a member when I lived in Minnesota, where they are based...
that lasted for about 90 days... got constant appeals for money, for every thing you could think of...
sent it all back and told them to stuff it...

Was never a member. I found that Bob Hagel book in a used book store about 20 years ago. It's still a favorite.

Yep. Still have the coin, giant patch and some playing cards. They sent me some things to field test. Some silicon cleaning patches and some other trinket junk. I guess the good stuff got sent to the owners buddies. Total scam. Use to see the guy that started it on canned hunts on TV. I guess the membership dues paid for those.

I was a life member and bought a few books and videos. But they kept sending me books and videos I hadn't ordered and then when they got through the cycle, they started sending me the same books and videos over again. Other than the first few I ordered, I refused everything else and when they wouldn't stop sending them I sent a nasty worded letter that I was done sending them money and wouldn't pay for another thing they sent me. Never heard another word from them but I still have the stupid metal medallions they kept sending and I do have a really nice leather coat that was part of the membership so at least I ended up with something out of the deal.... not sure what I did with the knife but it was a POS anyway

Yes, I too was a Life Member. It turned out to last their life not mine. Exactly. And like other have said, sent me bunch of books I never ordered. Never paid for them, either.

Ya. Still have a knife or two. Got sent some other stuff to test. Mostly junk. I thought it was a big deal though as I was a kid at the time

Was a member for a year or so back in the latter 1980's. I was never impressed and the only thing I have from them is an el-cheapo folding knife with their name on the blade. It sits in the knife drawer with all my decent hunting knives and I've never even used it because it's so crummy looking.

Was a life member. Still have and wear the leather jacket that came with the membership at that time. Also have quite a few of the books and knife sets they offered.
