The last 2 episodes are a little unrealistic. But overall I liked it.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

If you don’t mind watching a bunch of losers going to Oregon with a geriatric trail boss and a ridiculous 18 year old blonde cow puncher and some Germans that can’t speak English as they take months to leave Texas and get chased by fake Indians and bandits while they slowly try to get out of Texas and unload pianos and printing presses when they get to a river, this is your show.

If watching “Yellowstone” pleases you, 1893 and 1923 will be right up your alley.

However, if you are looking for an accurate depiction of someone leaving Texas, watch Lonesome Dove.

It is excruciating for the most part but hang in there until the bimbo takes an arrow in the belly and dies slowly.

Caution spoiler alert

Have not been able to watch more than 5 minutes of "yellowstone" and I suspect this one is equally stupid.

Arrow through the liver, half of it is sticking out of her back, and she walks it off.

"It doesn't hurt. I'll be fine."

Nearly everyone in the cast dies horribly, including the extras. There's almost nobody left at the end.

I did not know, until I started watching this show, that leopards hunt as mated pairs. Learn something new every day.

I asked my wife what she thought of 1883. She said that if a person had an IQ above 30 they'd hate. If not, you'd probably like it
As usual, she was spit on!

Five minutes in to 1883, Tim shoots several men with an 1885 model Winchester (or Browning). Only anachronism so far.

It has its lame aspects. But its miles ahead of 1923. That part of the story has shît the bed so far, excepting the African scenes. The stateside scenes are awful hard to watch by and large. You’d think he’d get better actors for some of the parts that are just simply horribly portrayed

What he said. 1883 merely recycles predictable, boorish, threadbare Western tropes: grizzled wagon master with a tragic past, noble Indians, naïve sodbusters and greenhorns, freespirited adolescent girl, cookie cutter bad guys, the West of comic books.

The sister that shoots herself in the head in the beginning is actually the new hot villain girl in Yellowstone
