Got a new Nikon 5-20 w/side focus...haven't mounted it yet...looks good as all Monarchs do...no caps if I recall...yept still proudly made in the Phillipines.....

I bet if you did a survey, those in the know....made in philipines, would prefer/buy/buy more if they were mfg elsewhere, agree/disagree?
Really if Honda and Toyota were mfg in Philipines, how would their sales be?

Agree but if not USA I guess I don't care. I pretty much prefer Leupold then Nikon then Burris. At least on my budget.....

I'd rather have them be made in Japan in the top end assembly facility, but then they would cost more.
