My grandparents cosigned a loan for one of my uncles and it started a bitter family situation that lasted almost 20 years

Yes. A friend buying a used vehicle for getting to work. His parent's credit was really bad.
True to his word, he paid it off early and never late on payments.
Wasn't a problem, but I've heard horror stories.
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat."

I consigned for my stepson's car. He had no credit rating as he had a job and up to that point he had paid for everything in cash. I figured if if he failed to make payments it would be chalked up to experience and the last time I helped him out on anything. In the long run it would have been cheaper for me if he would have reneged!

I cosigned for my sister on a propane tank agreement. That was a very large mistake.

Yeah, I did once. No, problem at all.
Why do I have to press 1, for English?

Just did tonight as a matter of fact. A used car for my niece in college. Her dad is a drunken piece of chite and she needed a little help.

I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

No, but I would for my oldest daughter without a second thought. My youngest isn't old enough to think about it yet.

Many times... I always go into it thinking it is a gift and feel lucky and grateful when it works. Got shafted twice and consider things are well into the plus side due to good will generated.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

My dad cosigned a loan for me to buy an apartment building in 1990. It seems like I rebuilt every bathroom floor in the building.
I had my name on the title of my 16 year old little brother's 67 barracuda in 1975. THat car would do 120 mph. He is still alive.

Done it twice for relatives. Had the mentality that it was a gift. But loans repaid, no problems.

No, but I need to check my credit score. I haven borrowed a dime in 20 years, haven't had a payment with my name on it in 7. Not even a credit card.
Don't like borrowing, don't want to. But hate to eliminate bridges.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

I cosigned a loan for a boob job for a stripper. It was worth it.
What if Jessie's girl is Stacy's mom, and her phone number is 867-5309
