When you say lightweight stock, is it a kimber factory stock, i.e Montana, or some other lightweight stock. Judging by the recoil pad, I’m guessing not factory? Also, is the Douglas barrel turned to factory dimensions? Any idea on bare rifle weight?

It is full Kevlar stock. Barrel is a Douglas #2.

I’m not a pro on the matter but it almost looks like a colt light rifle style stock in some of the pictures.

With apologies to Corder3825, I am confused. So I will re-ask what borden811 asked. Is the stock on your rifle the factory Kimber stock? My apologies as I'm just not clear. Thanks in advance. Very nice looking rifle by the way.

I'll jump on the pile..... Is it a stainless Montana action under the cerakote or did the action come from a Classic?

This is a prototype of our new Aeros stock that is hand laid up from Kevlar. We have completely re-developed the way we make our Kevlar stocks and will be offering them in the near future.

Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. Your response brings up, at least for me, another question. Who is the "our" and the "we" referred to in your response? Once again, thanks in advance and I'm sorry if it appears as though I'm being a pest; but, I just need to be educated and have no idea who makes "Aeros" stocks.

Define "our" and "we". You own Kimber?
