Besides using a donor action, I'm also considering the M704 for a .416 Ruger build that will be used at .404 Jeff velocities.

I'm curious to chat with anyone who is using this action for cartridges larger than .30 caliber.

Well, I got my questions answered by a fellow who used one on a .375 H&H build.

It looks like the "BushVeld" build is a go...

My sole concern is mag box length. I think it is around 3.6”. For that length I would choose the 416 Remington.
