Lookin to scope my Marlin 1894c in 357. I would prefer a gloss scope Burris, Leupold etc. Im not opposed to a 1.5-4x20, just something with a small 20mm objective.
It is 1" - it is a Redfield Bear Cub. I had it one a 1903 Springfield. I think I have a widefield version too. I am out of town but can try to send you pictures when I get home later today, assuming I can figure out how to do that. Let me know if you are interested enough.
I got home from the cottage and found my Widefield 2-3/4x, a Widefield 1.5x-5x and a Weaver K3, but not the Bear Cub. I have pictures of the 3 I found. I will look a few other places if you are still interested. The Bear Cub had a couple of knicks on the bell - I had it in a Jaeger detachable side mount so that removal brought it in contact with a Redfield receiver sight. I was thinking of $50 for the Bear Cub - I see people want crazy amounts for the same scope on ebay - if I can find it.
