I have built a 338.06 to see how I would do. A gunsmith was watching over my shoulder the whole time if that is a concern. 1917 action and a custom ported barrel. I put express sights on it because I thought they look cool. I tried my hand at in letting a stock. It is a Richard's micro fit second. Custom dies go with the rifle. I cannot figure out how to post pictures so if anyone shows interest I can text you pictures from my phone. I would like $800 to recoup money I spent on the parts. My labor is pretty cheap. Thanks for looking.

Internet analysis: 1 in a row is a trend, 2 in a row is statistically significant, and 3 in a row is an irrefutable fact Fools & fanatics are always so certain and wise people are always so questioning

It hasn't been shot by anyone since I built it. I haven't had time to form brass or reload. I know, why build it? I just wanted to see if I could. I did up a Swede 6.5x55 that is double ugly. Tried my hand at hot bluing on that rifle. I have a friend that hunts in Alaska and I thought he might take it but that didn't work. Sorry
