Does anyone have an accurate weight for this particular rifle in .375hh? I understand that they are quite light for a.375 but don’t know how much they actually weigh typically. Thank you

Good guns. I have one and it groups 3 Hornady 300 gr bullets under an inch at 100 yards.

Is that without a scope?

My Interarms Mark X .375 H&H weighs 9 lbs 11oz. That is with a Leupold 1.5x5 scope.

Mine weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces with a Butler Creek Synthetic Stock, and nine pounds even with a Boyds walnut stock that I extensively remodeled. This was with an FX-II 3x20 Leupold in Weaver detachable mounts.

It also had some work done to the barrel. I shortened it from 24" to 22", but then D'Arcy Echols fitted NECG express sights. The late Dave Gentry also fitted one of his 3-position M70 type safeties, which probably added an ounce or two.

If that is 8 3/4#, no scope, unloaded, no sling……too heavy for me to hunt with! Though, it should be pleasant from the bench! memtb

I must have the heaviest one here. With a wooden Remington 798 stock, barrel band front sight, Brockman's sling stud, a Zeiss Duralyt 2-8x42 scope with illuminated reticle and sling, but unloaded... it weighs 10.5 pounds. The scope should be 1.1 pounds according to the manufacturer.

That 8 3/4 # figure is without scope on my bathroom scale.

Assuming proper stock fit, a good recoil pad, and if it’s kept as a “stock” .375 H#H….. 9# or a bit less scoped, loaded, and slung…..should be an absolute sweatheart to hunt with and quite tolerable from the bench! JMO memtb

Your Remington comes with a laminated stock, n’est-ce pas? They are a good deal heavier than walnut.

I don’t regret selling a lot of guns which is a good business decision when one owns a gunshop. Customers get tired of you telling them that all the firearms on the racks are not for sale….😂

I had a Remington 700 KS in .375H&H that I now regret selling. Even with the 24” bbl it was lightweight and trim rifle that was not unpleasant to shoot. With the various calibers I owned like 45-70, .338wm, 325wsm, etc I didn’t feel the need for the KS but I sure would find a use for it today. ☹️

Just to be clear, it is an Interarms Mark X, with a replacement Remington 798 walnut stock ordered from Stocky's (according to the previous owner!) The stock is definitely walnut. However, also according to the previous owner: "3 rnds worth of #1 buckshot were used to fill in the inletted mortise for the front recoil lug (not present on this Mark X action). So, that sounds to me like a 1/4 pound extra, give or take. Still doesn't explain why it weighs quite so much. Perhaps a little weight added elsewhere? It's pleasant to shoot, anyways.

Mine with a Nikon Monarch UCC 3-9x40 weighs 10lbs 2oz on my postal scale. Not bad at all from the bench.

Mine was around 9 lbs on a kitchen scale, no scope, but I'm going from memory and I'd buy 8 3/4. Definitely not light.

I used to have an Interarms Mark X Whitworth in 375. I don't recall what it weighed, but it had a hole inlet in the barrel channel for a front recoil lug and the barrel had a lug screwed on. The weight probably came from the barrel; it was decidedly larger in diameter than the barrel used on smaller calibers.

Weighed mine wearing a walnut stock. 8.5 pounds with talley bases and no rings or scope. Personally I would not want it lighter.

IME they are heavier than a 375 H&H needs to be.
