Beard. No big wild silly looking pubic hair thing like about every “country” dude from 17 to 46 thinks makes him look good these days. But goatee or trimmed beard, sometimes a horseshoe mustache with a chin patch. Never ever clean shaven.

I used to grow one in the Winter, almost every year. I've got a lot of gray in mine now, and they're itchy MF's too.

I hate shaving and no one at work GAF if I shave or not, so I'm generally always scraggly. I will shave if I happen to GAF myself when I look in that damned mirror at 4:20 AM every morning and I still GAF when I shower at 8 PM. It's damned rare that I do GAF.

Sometimes I grow it out, but I usually bail when it gets itchy.

I find the long scraggly ones to be disgusting

I've worn a beard since my late 20s, for the most part. I had one job that didn't allow it, but that didn't last long.

Haven't had a beard all throughout my USCG career. I had a moustache though.

All these decades later, I grew a full beard and have never shaved it off. I never knew what I was missing!

Seasonal. Start one in the fall, comes of mid May. I can't deal with one during the summer months.

Have had one for years.

Had to shave once a week when working in the oilfield even after passing the mask vacuum test for H2S card.

Will trim it shorter during spring-summer but let it grow out for Fall-Winter.

Yeah I’ve got the facial hair. Sorta resembles a certain Confederate Calvary wizard. My youngest had never seen me without a moustache until he was 16. I got a wild hair one Christmas and shaved it off. He and the wife couldn’t get used to it and I had to grow it all back. I have not been a bare faced liar since. Caught Covid in Oct 2020 and was hospitalized until late Feb 2021. Much of the time no family visitors allowed. Got pictures of me looking like a twin brother to the UNIBOMBER, Ted Kadinsky. Best Christmas present I got in 2020 was a trim from a black night shift aide. We burnt up a pair of electric trimmers but I looked somewhat civilized again.

You boys and itchy beards need to learn how to wash, oil and take care of the skin underneath.

Our local sheriff has recently dropped the prohibition on deputy's beards. There has been some negative reaction from the public. Not sure why.

I have whiskers these days since I retired. Just trim every now and then with our 4-H goat clippers.
