One other thing: and then I'll leave you all to your ant butter. These little counterspace wasters are a lot cheaper to run than my electric stove. The stove is on a 220 Circuit and when you turn it on the streetlights dim. These little guys are running on 120V 15 Amp circuits and I can run 2 at once along with the coffee maker and not blow the breaker.
I have to laugh about Slummy's assessment of the clientele at the local Speedway. He's spot on. I was going to this one just before the exit to get on I-75 and the neighborhood was deteriorating. The folks I saw in that place got me thinking a CCW permit was in order.
After the CCW permit, it dawned on me that I should gas up at the Speedway at the other end, down in Walton KY. Down there, I think they must eat Guatamalans or something. Oh well, the next job I had took me through one of the murder hotspots in Cincinnati. The CCW was well worth the effort.

Yes, but I don't usually see that at any of the Speedway Stores.

Hey, if you like it and use it, you have my blessing. I can see having a tool that does one thing but does it expertly, as long as it doesn't take the place of something that does several jobs almost as well.

I beg to differ, J3. Any appliance that takes up valuable counter real estate (or drawer space) but does only one seldom-used thing is a waste. Compared to something like a frying pan, which does the same things as this gadget and much, much more. Sounds like you have a small kitchen.

. . . and after all this, I decided to pull out the air fryer and fix Tandori chicken thighs.

A single-purpose counter space thief is silly. William-Sonoma would go broke if not for my wife buying everything ever made for a kitchen. 🦫

CMB, the electric one is a Hamilton Beach. The angry one is a Halfaton Bitch.
