Hey All...In DEC 2022 i went to my local UPS store to have them notarize one of the forms needed to purchase an M1 Garand from the CMP.....
no prob... and a $6 charge....last month (Jan 2023) was in my local CHASE branch and asked if they had notary service...they said yes and no charge...
so now i have TWO CMP Winchester expert grade CMP Garands....CMP is now sold out of Winchester Garands..today went to my CHASE branch to NOTARIZE
FORM FOR A DIFFERENT GRADE OF CMP M1....NOTARY at my Chase branch out sick today...went to that same UPS store to have form notarized......
was told they could not do it since "it involves a gun".....told them they did it for me back in in December 2022....they then checked their log book and found that they did indeed notarize my for on DEC 20, 2022....OK...they did notarize the form today but said they "will NOT notarize forms for guns anymore"...
P.S. the CMP uses FEDEX overnight to ship your M1 directly to you...unless u live in NY..CA....NJ...etc.....
