government trying to tell teachers how and what to teach

This isn't that difficult.

Parents blaming the teachers… lack of backbone / support from admin. My wife left a 17 year tenure to take a 40% pay cut to get away from the above. yMMV

We do not have a education system we have a indoctrination system.

Same thing as what's wrong with the rest of the country- - - -it's run mostly by dummycraps and RINO's! I'm surprised I survived the public education system long enough to retire. I was quick to remind the administrators that as a skilled trade instructor, I could always double my pay with a couple of phone calls anytime I wanted, and they would starve to death if they ever lost their job.

In my opinion, that’s about 75% of the issue. The rest is parents that don’t give a damn about their kids or the education of them.

It goes a little deeper than that. A lot of the flower children and hippies of the late 1960s and early 1970s went into education. They are now the school superintendents in a lot of places.

1) Peak crime demographic is IQ 85.
Any smarter is too smart for crime.
Any dumber is too dumb for crime.
Low IQ neighborhood is low income is a high crime neighborhood.

2) Single mother homes cannot discipline teen boys.
Welfare state incentivises single mother births.

3) Lack of severe consequences for bad behavior.

4) Status from bad behavior.
Humiliation and shame should be part of punishment.

The educational system is government indoctrination in exchange for free daycare and in many cases free meals.

50% of the kids come from single parent homes and nearly all of the other 50% come from homes with both parents working away from the house. It doesn’t take K-12 and now young fives plus preschool to teach kids HS level algebra and to read and write. Nearly everything else taught is indoctrination by the government and its mostly gung-ho liberal teachers.

From my school today, word on the street was she swung, cop body slammed her, hope it’s a felony and expulsion.

All students and staff are safe. I want to make you aware of an incident that took place in the cafeteria today at approximately 12:45. One of our students was suspended and was asked to leave the building several times by multiple staff members, but refused and became increasingly defiant. Admin notified the ——— Police Department who responded immediately to our school after the student refused to leave. The student became physical with law enforcement, but was quickly subdued and removed from school grounds.

Please note that due to confidentiality, I cannot share specifics, but I can assure you we are taking this incident seriously and will work to keep all students and staff safe. Please feel free to come talk to me if you have any questions.

I'll throw teaching to the lowest common denominator into the fray

and giving kids diplomas regardless of whether they show any competence in say, math or reading. Having life skills is racist, you know.
