I plan to try working up loads for the 210 Barnes TTSX & Sierra 215 GameKing bullets. I have not tinkered with loads in the past 5 yrs.but thought I would get back to the bench and try these bullets especially with all the new powders out there now.
Any one have any pet loads with these bullets?
PASS IT ON!

70grs of IMR 4350 and Federal GM match primers for the TTSX's, I've not loaded for the Sierra's.

My Tikka T3's loved 210 gr Swift Scirocco's with 65 grs of RL15 in a Federal case with a 215 primer = 2989fps and 1/2" MOA at 100yards

Try hodgdons hybrid 100v my custom 338 win mag loves it. I'm shooting 225gr Hornady sst and 69.5 gr h100v with CCI mag primers. My velocity is average 2950 with extreme spread of only 9 fps.

My Ruger MKII in 338 win mag and the 210 TTSX did well with 73 g of R-15, and did even better with 71 g of 4831, which gave an adv velocity of 2954.

I've had good luck with H4831 behind the Sierra's.
Never loaded for the TTSX.

73gr RL-19 F-210 Match primer and either WW or Federal brass with 210 TTSXs or Partitions.
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Ran both bullets with 75.5 grs RL-22. Very close to the load we use in my wife’s .338 WM with 225 TTSX’s. We’re using 78.5 grains RL 22, Federal Safari (nickel plated) cases, Federal 215 primers. memtb

There are many powders the grand 338wm likes and some it loves. The ones I've had great luck with are: 1. H4350 2. IMR4350 3. AA3100 4. RL19 If you can't find an awesome load with these powders in the 338, you aren't trying hard enough: That was not one of my Tikka's, but a lowly ol Winchester model 70. My Rugers always preferred IMR4350 with 250's: I had 4 of them that like this load. One was a little more finicky and preferred a slightly less powder charge, but shot just as well. It's admirable that memtb's wife shoots a 338wm. I've had friends try it and give up on them because they kicked too hard. Here's an example. Friend bought a really nice boat paddle, but just could not handle it: My elk hunting partner runs the same rifle, but in a laminated wood stock. He also shoots 250's. I finally decided I'd just run 225's. Seems like a good weight for a do it all 338wm..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I don't know of anyone that really likes shooting a 338wm off the bench though. I rarely shoot mine as well. Believe it or not, I shot that 5 shot group and said that is good enough and put it away. That rifle is just like that though. Never losing zero and set up right. Anyway, went from that group (on March 4, 2017) to this, 2 years later. 5 shots on target and 1 on this bull (Oct 24, 2019): I have not shot it since.. The real beauty in that rifle and load is I can take it out tomorrow and shoot the same group with it. Guaranteed..

My best powder was Norma MRP. in my Ruger M77. I used 210gr Nosler Partitions And Winchester cases. Speed was 3041 FPS. Wish I had
Tryed RL26 as it will usually give you a little more speed. Accuracy was very good.SD was 8.4
