Cleaning the gunroom. Stumbled across this stuff, thought I sold it all back in December.

17 WSM ammo for sale. Not available anywhere but gunjoker and probably likely discontinued in the future.......so a little bird tells me. If you have a .17 WSM, I wouldn't hesitate. I sold all mine, thus the ammo clearance.

I wish I had so much ammo stashed I didn’t know what I even had! Lol.

Do you have inside info from someone in the industry? Tons of rumors floating around the web but really curious if you have better info than that. I've got a couple Contender barrels and several thousand rounds but might sell off if it is a dead cartridge.

I contacted Winchester and was told they would eventually start production on 17WSM. Once they caught up with all of the most popular rounds! I have a email somewhere I will post later on I received from them.

I could be wrong here, but I believe I read that 17 WSM cases are formed from 25 caliber nail gun powder blanks, or at least the brass is drawn on the same machines. This would make the ammo manufacturing somewhat dependent on demand for powder blanks which makes the production of 17 WSM rather peculiar. As we all know the housing construction industry went nuts in 2020 and has only recently begun to show signs of slowing. I personally expect production of 17 WSM ammo will resume sometime this year now that housing starts have fallen and store shelves are well stocked with other ammo again.
