As a lefty I like the ambidextrous slide and magazine releases. Nothing to switch over and always ready for a RH or LH shooter. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

If I were in the market for a 10mm, that's the one I'd buy. I'm not crazy about the grip safety, but I can also live with it. But the rest of the pistol is pretty awesome!! And yeah, I get it about the eyes. I can see at distance just fine. The challenge is seeing my front sight, that's getting tough. This whole getting old thing sucks.

My old cop trade in XDM40 arrived with a smooth trigger pull of 5 pounds, which suits me fine on a full size pistol, but the second stage is longer than I like. It is plenty accurate and worthy of a better trigger. Direct Impingement is the Fart Joke of military rifle operating systems. ⓒ
