I'm looking for a few security cameras for our cabin. We would like to monitor the exterior around the cabin and also a few spots around the long gravel drive and around the barn. We have electricity. We have spotty cell phone coverage and could possibly have internet through DSL on a landline in the cabin.
I know others already have solutions in place and would appreciate learning about them. I've also looked at Vosker cameras and wanted to hear thoughts on those if anyone is using them. Thanks -tnscouter

I have cameras with a hard drive backup that i can access with internet from my phone anytime. Got an 8 camera hard wired set from amazon. ZosiSmart is the name of these, they work fine. I had a different name brand on my old house and they were the same thing. Its sad n these days we need such things but because of an ex inlaw and drugs it’s necessary for us.
Be reasonable. Do it my way!

No idea, but I'm looking for cameras to put in remote locations - no wires to be had out there. I'm hopeful someone has suggestions.

My cabin got robbed. F***ers. They even stole the light bulbs and paper plates. You can't see it from the road so someone had to spend some time snooping. Had two game cameras up at the time, for taking game pictures. They stole both of them. Cabin has no electric when I'm not there. I have a cell booster but only use it when I'm there. So no electric or cell for monitoring. I spent too much time research all the options. The cellular game cameras all have horrible reviews unless you buy the $1000 versions. That's a $1000 that would get stolen IMO. I ended up with six cheaper game cameras, some very well hidden, some obvious. Plan is they take the obvious ones and miss the hidden ones.
Cops didn't real care. They spent 45 minutes there, took some pictures and left. Basically said good luck. Steel shutters over the windows and doors are a spring project.

Thanks -tnscouter I am off grid with a driveway of my own just over 2 miles long. I put in a locked gate at the 1 mile point. That gate cannot be gotten around with a vehicle. I put in a second gate just over a quarter mile from my buildings that can’t be gotten around with a vehicle either. Break ins stopped. Sherif had told me if they can’t load and haul things out they will be too lazy to carry it. He was right. Osky
