.50 Cal inline. Thinking about selling but struggling to come up with fair value seeing that there isn’t many available. What’s everyone’s thoughts?

Prices on Encore stuff is all over the place. I think you’ll get more for it if you part it out, but if you don’t want to, I’d ask at least $1000-1100.

Thanks for the fast response. Yea the scope is an older 2x gloss Leupold so that has its own value

There’s a few groups on MeWe that are dedicated to Encores and Contenders, and stuff seems to sell fast there.

I’d say $800-$900 without scope! Or trade for 10 dozen large eggs! 😁

That package should run in the $1000-1100 range. The frames alone are $500-700, depending on who's buying and who's selling. For example, last year I had a Savage 24 30/30 over 20 gauge I wanted to sell. Not worth more than $500. But a guy messaged me about it and wondered if I would take an Encore with .243 Win barrel and Mossy Oak camo stock set and Weaver 8x target dot scope. Of course! I sold the barrel for $200, the stocks for $150, and the scope for $125 and was left with the frame, which is all that I really wanted. So the valuation is all over the place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I've got an Endeavor Prohunter Encore 50 cal listed for a friend on a local forum right now. It has a Nikon scope on it and has some accessories to go with it. It's been listed at $950 for a month and I haven't had a sniff. They seem to be selling for more than that elsewhere but he doesn't want to ship it.

What’s the scope worth off the gun?

The Pro-Hunter frames and Flex-tec stocks, neither of which this rifle has, seem to bring the most money. Also, the muzzleloader barrels don't usually get top dollar, probably due to potential poor maintenance issues. The Leupold scope alone should be worth at least $200. I think you would be doing very well to get $1000 for the entire package, including the scope.

Agree with eblake a standard blued frame is $500 scope$200 butt stock $50-$75 and the barrel depends on condition big time! Might be $50 could bring $250

The 2x Leupold should bring around $200, assuming no significant ring marks. Barrel will be around $250, and frame w/ stock & forend *should* be around $600. Synthetic stock sets by themselves will bring $100-125, so that is an option....you'll make more parting it out, complete Encore muzzleloaders don't typically sell as easily as normal centerfire stuff. I don't see having too much trouble getting rid of the frame by itself for $500.

Prices have come down a decent amount on Contender & Encore stuff, they were sky high last year.

Is it a legit Endeavor? Lots of folks calling their stuff Endeavors because it has the barrel on a regular Encore or Pro Hunter Frame.

If you can get him to ship it, I'm a serious buyer. Let me know. I still don't have private message privileges but you can call or text. 757-647-9791

I think $900.00 would be a fair price. The blued ML package does not bring the money that the Stainless pro hunters do. Jmo. as already stated, probably make more parting it out.

Thanks guys for all the responses. So it sounds like I need to break it down and list it separately? I really appreciate all the input.

On this ML set-up, I would try to sell the entire package first or be willing to separate the scope and gun! Otherwise you’ll likely sell the frame and end up with a part or two like the barrel or scope that you’ll have more trouble selling, take more of your time to package and mail, and any unsold parts will be useless to you.

Very true.
