I used to have Dark Sky and really liked it. I work outside, so a good, readable forecast helps a great deal. Dark Sky was axed from the Android platform, and I've been using the weather.com app since, bit I don't find it to be as functional or readable. Can anyone recommend an app that they like?

Dark sky was bought by apple and incorporated into the apple weather.
I use WeatherBug for forecasts. Not the best. I use windy for radar.
Carrot weather gets good reviews.
(I use apple, not sure if these are available for android )

Not sure if there's an app for it, but I just use the NOAA site on my browser. My understanding is that most weather forecasting is based on their data anyway.

I work outside and use WeatherBug. The radar is pretty accurate.
I sure could go for some $2.50/gal gas and a mean tweet!

the damn old weather channel wants you to pay for their stuff now.
I'd like to tell them I'll pay their $2.99 a month of whatever but every time they get the forecast wrong, they need to pay me $2.99.
I'll come out about $200 ahead each year.
have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings

CBC radio station here gives the same weather report for White River and Balmerton. White River to Balmertown is 830 miles.

You must remember that the Weather Channel has all those non weather programs that they run. They have to pay those because NBC won't cover them and their 4 hours a day of weather costs money. Besides, who would they have to "name" all these summer and winter storms??

I use Weatherunderground, WeatherBug, AccuWeather, Clime (NOAA), Windy, MyRadar, and the embedded iPhone weather app.

I use Radar-X on my Samsung. I think it's quite accurate.
Fall seven times, stand up eight.
