Standard fill?

I own 2 of this exact same model McMillan stock(Sako/Tikka Compact…standard fill). Both are on Tikka T3X Superlites. It’s a very slim design similar to Remington’s walnut mountain rifle stock.

I honestly can’t imagine wanting this stock to be any lighter in weight than they already are with the standard fill. There comes a point when a rifle becomes too light weight to be able to shoot accurately….For me, that point is this particular stock model on a Tikka with edge fill.
The compact/standard fill(being sold here) adds just enough weight to the “already light weight” Tikka T3X barreled action to still be able to easily shoot it accurately but still have a very nice, light-weight rifle.

I love both of mine…one is a .308 Win. and the other is 6.5 CM. Both handle like a dream mountain rifle.

This is a very nice stock on a Tikka T3/T3X…and at a very fair price!
