With all the baggage Trump has accumulated since he was first elected- warranted or not - and add to that his distinctly unlikeable personality most of the time I believe he is pretty much unelectable in the next election. His policies are solid in my opinion, but he chooses poorly when confronted with cabinet choices, so that nullifies a lot of his agenda at times. You can bet the democrats will continue with the semi-legal attacks on him, his corporations, and anything that has to do with Trump until the day they put him in the ground in his gold plated coffin, so we would have to suffer through that BS for another four years at the least. In the end there are signs the RNC is weary of dealing with the baggage and is ready to cut him loose and find a candidate that is definitely electable even if Biden doesn't run and their boy Newsome becomes the candidate.
With all this, I believe the only conservative candidate that has the best chance to win in 2024 is DeSantis. No candidate is going to be perfect and check all the boxes but he comes pretty close IMO and will be more careful choosing a cabinet that suits his agenda after watching Trumps failures in this regard...

They can't find a way to move against his Insurrection Act and Devolution of Power to the Military for Continuance of Governance under an illegal Foreign Coup and Belligerent Occupation of the White House. That's why there is Panic in DC. Trump is going to MAGA. Well, your conspiracy foil hat conspiracy theories are cute and all and kind of entertaining reading, but even if they were true it doesn't matter a bit if he can't get elected and at the moment his favorability ratings aren't looking good at all. I've talked to an awful lot of past Trump supporters and they all say the same thing- they can't bring themselves to vote for Trump unless he is the last conservative resort. That means to me that he isn't likely to get through the primaries, much less win the popular vote... DeSantis has a much better chance of winning and bringing a conservative cabinet to Washington again. And he will have the experience and political contacts to choose a better group for his cabinet who won't go south on him at the slightest sign of trouble

Well, considering Biden was elected over Trump when no one thought Trump could possibly lose gives you an idea of the average intellect of the electorate? I will be voting Republican, but don't be surprised if Trump doesn't survive the primaries.. Trump as president is probably the best choice if that is the choice, but his first term suffered greatly from his cabinet choices, firings, new hires, etc.... if you can't see that was a big part of his first term you are missing the big picture .
