I needed some 7mm Rem mag brass last weekend, so I hit the usual websites to find generally, none available. Midway had 50 count bags of Sig brass for $58.99 each. A quick jump to Sig's website and I found I could buy it for $46.99, a savings of $12 per bag or 20%! I ordered two bags direct from Sig and they showed up yesterday.
The brass is nicely packaged in zip lock type bags. I opened one and found 3 cases with very slight mouth dents. Case mouths did not appear to be chamfered. (FWIW, the only cases I have purchased that had a decent chamfer were Nosler 338 WM.) I grabbed 5 cases and weighed them. Average weight was 228.1 grains with the high coming in at 228.5 and the low at 227.9. The same cases exhibited variations in case neck thickness of less than .001" to .0015".
Looks like decent brass, only shooting will tell.

Yes, it's great stuff. There has been multiple threads about it. I've used their 22-250, and 308w and it is very good stuff. At least good enough for my needs..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Sounds like the Sig rifle brass is good. However, I've used a lot of Sig 9mm once fired brass and found that a small percentage seems to crack when I resize them on my Dillon 750XL. I don't see that with other brands of brass. Not sure why some Sig brass is brittle but it seems to be the case.

sure its good stuff...
but in these Biden/DemocRAT times...any brass is better than NO brass...
In the last 3 months, I've picked up range brass at my local range
In the last 6 weeks, I've picked up mainly 223, but also around a 100 plus of 308, some 06, a few mag cases in 7 and 300, couple hundred 6.5 Needmoor... a few odd ball 7 x 57 and a couple of 6.5 x 55...but in total, that was 1200 plus pieces of brass...
Threw it in the tumbler over night, with some mineral spirits ( medicine cup worth), next morning most of it was as shiney as a brand new case...
Sized them, annealed them, and then put them in containers or zip locks, sorted by the caliber....and sub sorted by the manufacturers...
all once fired store bought ammunition....
month before I picked up about a 150 or so of Sig 556 brass.... just drop by to shoot late in the day....if its laying around.. most guys never seem to pick it up....I've gone home lots of times having picked up all the way up to 500 pieces or so in one range visit... other days... not a darn thing laying around... someone beat me to it earlier...

I've only used it in 300 Blackout and 308 Win, but it has been good in both. Pretty much exclusively what I've used in Blackouts for the past few years.
