I use double boiled linseed oil very sparingly hand rubbed into the wood. Allow a day or two for it to fully dry before you plan to use the gun. I've used it on Beretta O/U and semi autos, Winchester M12s, Coopers, etc. Just used it on a Browning Model 12 reproduction 28 ga made by Miroku today. A $15 can will likely last me several lifetimes. I transfer a small amount into a little container so I am not frequently opening the quart can. Air contact with the linseed leads to lumps in the can....do not attempt to rub the lumps into the stock, just apply the liquid linseed.
