Back then?... still today, never quit that's what's ironic. Larry Root posted in this very thread. Same chit, same characters, just another decade. Guys chasing Maser, Root, steelhead, old toot. Trying to be the first to root them out, setting traps, accusing newbies, doxing. It's the kinder gentler campfire... Kent Well, Kent, after a look at some of that stuff we saw back then, it may be kinder/gentler now. But, the same odd types seem to have the same needs - and behaviors. Was it ever truly funny - especially the craziest of their stuff - or just strange? No answer here. One solid observation/question after all these years. Why is it that none of the bigmouth oddball internet warriors ever seem to arrive at the Campfire get together events where the reality happens? And, why do those that we actually meet and join with overall seem to be such great folk? Mystery, eh?

All you would see today, are pictures of alunimum sheet, channel ect. Stacks of bearings, gearbos and belting. Plus a dirty shop! I will take some when we get into the fabrication.

Maybe the worst was AK bushrat... and there was some bad ones... he hated us 'border guys', since I was from Az and have hunted along the border a bunch. Well he hated me for not shooting every mexican I saw while out hunting. He said he came to Az every year, hunted and killed mexicans... like I hadn't heard that bullchit before from goofy people themselves. Anyway one summer before the get together he pm'ed me saying he was in Elephant Butte, had a mexican girl he was raping and torturing in a motel room, after he was done with her and killed her he was coming to the event. Told him, see you there liar... he never showed... No Alaskan was down on the border in the summer, course he was probably lying about AK in his handle. Sick bastards out there in internet world.
