Drove about 35 miles to a shop in an adjacent town that sells guns and reloading supplies. Bought 500 Speer swaged 158 grain SWCHPs for $10 a hundred, Also bought a pound of Bullseye and a pound of AA#5..

$40 a pound for the Bullseye. $35 a pound for the AA#5. That stung. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

The place also had a small selection of small rifle primers. But I'm set for primers.

That's about what I'm seeing too.

Good price on the bullets. Powder price sucks, but waiting for the price to go down probably means never getting any powder. As for primers, I imagine you're still grinning about the recent find. I sure would be.

I was fairly set for primers even before I found that ammo can of primers that got stuck back and forgotten. But it was a nice find.

It was a warm, sunny day. I needed a diversion. It's a bit of a nuisance to go to that reloading supply store. It's about 30 miles away and there's no good way to get there without going through a busy part of Lexington. But they usually have a very decent supply on hand.

I should have bought some more stuff. But it doesn't take long for me to run up a good sized bill if I buy everything I want at a reloading supply store. I have to pace myself.

Small rifle primers are somewhat common around here lately ,

Powder is available, but no Large rifle primers in a long time.

I recently bought a 22-250. I have a couple of friends who were getting out of 22-250 and I got some brass and primers from them. 900 large rifle primers for $45. I thought that was extremely fair. The chances of me shooting up all of the primers in my lifetime are pretty slim. But, I'm sure my son and his son can do it.

There is a zero chance I'm going to find a can of primers in my basement.

Absolutely no primers at all here in South Carolina. Especially small Rifle ones. Haven't seen any in stores in over a year or two.

I just left a very large sporting goods store. Lots of powder if you want to pay 45-60 a pound.

I just recently bought a pound of Lil Gun for $38.00. I rationalized the purchase by calculating I can get about 800 loads out of it.

That's what hat you will be paying if you want to keep loading.

I’m sure a lot of our supply is being used up in Ukraine. At least that’s their first stop before being sold on the black market.

Starline just let me know my back-order of .45 Super brass is going to ship Wednesday. Just in time, I was beginning to worry about my old lot of brass.

Went to a nearby gun show today looking for powder, primers and Hornady 105gr, BTHP. Only one guy had any H4350 in the whole place. Price was high but cheaper than ordering online paying hazmat, taxes and shipping. Found the bullets from another place at a reasonable price.

The was another guy that had Federal large magnum primers, price… $250 per 1000! I let him keep’um.
