I have heard that Schrader Brand connectors are some of the best. Thoughts there?

Have an old bud, runs a log splitter with his john deere, connectors filthy, dug a glob of mud wasp out and slammed it up into quick couple. lol
He is like, ahh its got a filter
Im a lot more particular about those connections and bagging the ends in storage.
I bent one, Napa replaced one side for $10. Wasnt too painful.

Different manufacturers have different tolerances. Change both sides with the same maker. This may be your problem.

I have attachments from a few years and different makers on all that stuff. Only had one hard connector and one hose connector go to leaking some. I'm swapping all the time with different attachments.

Guy I ran a tractor for kept ether in the tractor cab. When swapping out equipment, he douched the female end with ether and sprayed and wiped the male end. His tractors were "tired iron", but he was meticulous about those hydraulic quick connects. Don't recall having any leaks.

It might just be the type of connection.
I had to change a Kubota type fittings on a 4x4 tractor because they leaked and they also wanted to much for the others on implements.
Went with Pioneer type.

Use the Kubota high pressure quick connects in matched pairs, with the caps when not in use. They're twice the price, but still cheap enough and well worth the extra cost.

Good luck ledvm.
How's your weather looking?
Spouse and I are going down to North of Muenster end of Feb to shoot some hogs on the family place. Hoping for warmer than we are getting lately and a few pigs to shoot at, they are on the Red so should be opportunities.
