Picked up a Browning reflect for a Buckmark camper 5.5 Bull. After doing the trigger spring flip. It’s been VERY ACCURATE with irons. It really gives an edge in sight pic precision. It was shooting Excellent which improved my
shooting to what you’d expect with say a 2x EER.

I’ve knocked a few Fox squirrels out of some trees out to around 40 yds in the past. This dot is only going to make hits all that much easier.

Back in the '90s I got a 5.5 Target model, with the full length rail, intellectually for squirrel hunting. Easy to mount a scope, and I used a Burris 1½-4x (I think, something like that). Since moved to a Leupold 2x. And then to a Burris red dot.

All this after gravitating from a Single Six (fixed sight), another Singe Six (adjustable sights and a clamp-on scope mount), a MkII with scope mount... And partly 'cause wifey wouldn't let me add a scope mount base to her High Standard Tournament model.

Haven't actually shot the Target model very often, don't really do much pure target shooting... and never really used the rotating-front-sight width-adjustment feature.

I'm just now in the process of switching the barrel/rail/front sight to use a suppressor... and probably sell off the original barrel/rail/sights... so once I'm done with all that and I get around to sighting the new set-up in again, I'll pay more attention to trigger pull.

You are welcome Chris. I can tell you, that trigger mod - in my experience and many others, gives me a NICE light consistent and safe trigger. And it only cost a short amount of time. Definitely worth it, as it will allow you to get the most out of your Buckmark.

The Heggis flip works great, took me maybe 20 minutes. Turned an accurate pistol into a sweeter shooter for no coin!
