Inexpensive spring steel machete. 100 mph tape rube goldberged up case and handle. 100 mph tape can fix or make alot of things. Stick it between the frame and ruck body of an Alice pack. Easy access over head reach with right hand. Ft Carson Been to Germany x1 Ft hood Korea x 3 Iraq x 2 Panama x 2 Ftcky x 3. Pretty much all over the rock. Good for general purpose schit like any machete is. Nice to have than not have when needed. Don't weigh nothing. Caught on to this from my 1st Sqd ldr Ssg Dunn at Ft Carson Lotta soldiers caught onto it from me down the ages after. Use it now for back yard weed schit. Clearing out spots to sit turkey hunting. Trim shooting lanes deer hunting. Take a file put a counter opposing edge on it.
