Teach ya about 50/50 gas up there in bean town?

Radcliffe... that is like bragging about drinking... then puking.

You don't need a pro grade saw just for "trimming around the property". That's absolute bullshyt unless you're planning on doing 6 cords worth of trimming a year. I burn firewood as my primary fuel source to heat my home. I cut 5 cords a year and have been doing it with a Husky 455 for the past 8 years now. Saw still runs fine.

From post 18103922:

you are a good man, supporting youth hunting Cash....I have done it out here via Boy Scouts... as you said, it provides a lot of personal fulfillment helping future hunters, and it brings one joy, to see the joy on their faces when they score their first deer...

Respect and Kudoes!

and you then post on THIS thread just to personally give me and Roy SchiTT ??? About what? Neither of us MEET Your Approval?

Well as soon as I have a concern about that fact, I'll be kind enough to let you know....

However, My words from post 18103922, still stands. I'm not going to play these Campfire " I'm better than you" Games.

Home Depot sells echo don’t they? Lots of places service them, Medford and GP both.

For a cheap homeowner saw, the echo cs400 has been awesome for me over the last ten years.Really rips with a muffler mod, carb adjustment and 91vxl chain. Never had to have it in the shop though, it always runs. Great reviews on the arborist site.

I’m still plugging along with my 18 or so year old Poulan Wild Thing. I’m on the second chain and bar. Haven’t replaced anything else….not even a spark plug. I’m not a logger, but just cut up a good sized tree this morning. I don’t require service. If it quits and I can’t easily fix it, I’ll just throw it away and go buy another one. Ethanol free gas is my best recommendation.

Yeah. I pinched the bar and wore out the chain about the same time.

I got a stihl 250 a few years ago. I haven't really used it much but it works when I do.

been doing that for years... you can't trust local stations here.. I've bought "Ethanol Free" 92 octane, and engine runs one tank, and then won't start, take the carb off and there is water in the bowl. its NOT ethanol free at all...

You could spice it up with a few Grains of Blue Dot. Ha!

I can’t understand water in the fuel bowl if the gas has alcohol in it. 🤷‍♂️

It mixes (absorbs) the water. Never have see separation in booze.

Water can be used to remove ethanol from gasoline.

There may be better videos. Just quickly picked this one.

I have a husky. Bought when I was younger on a budget. It’s Been good to me. But when in deer or elk camp and we go get fire wood. The stihl is different ball game.
My next saw will be the stihl.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.
