LMR Barrel gages M +1.5. T +2 Serial Number is in the 556mil range
Everything is H&R with the exception of the LMR barrel (this is the original barrel to the rifle) and Safety. The safety is an SA while it is know that H&R used SA parts on early rifles, this maybe a replacement part or it could be original. Stock is a post War walnut. No markings. All metal looks good. WW2 Springfield 43 reciever 46 barrel. Barrel reads 3.5 muzzle 3.5 throat. Barrel is import stamped. Most parts are springfield. I have reworked the rifle. Shoots and functions great. New sights and clip latch and springs. Stock is a post war.
