I'm helping a neighbor sell some of her recently deceased husband's fishing stuff. He has some older lures (Storm Thin Fins and Storm Wee Warts) and others. I'm not a seller on E Bay, but check their prices and am surprised at some of the prices asked. Do they really sell at the prices asked, i.e. $20 for one of the Wee Warts?

Might get a collector to grab it if it’s in very good shape. Original boxes help.

Oh yea, some of those lures can go for $200 or more. Any old Kwikfish in there? I'm definitely interested in those if there are.

I’ve got my mom’s second husband’s father’s tackle box and there is stuff in there that I’ve never seen before. With my history of buy high, sell low I’m scared to sell anything anymore.
My other auto is a .45

You never know.... sometimes it's just a certain color or style that commands the high price while others ain't worth the cost to ship. eBay is probably the best bet.

It’s how rare they are. The more harder to find the more in price it’s going to be. Glass eyes, what company made it, how many did they make, what condition they are in, if you got boxes. I’ve seen some go for good money.

If you're on FB, check out the page Vintage Crankbait Collectors. Post some pictures and you'll likely be able to get a feel for rarity/desirability.

I am a Rapala user and loved the husky 13's, have quite a few, but have put them away because of the prices. Have adapted and found some of the newer ones that work. Someday the wife will find all the rapala's, but so far I am safe.
