Looking to buy a stainless barrel blank from Krieger for a 7MM Mag build with following specs.....
.277 Bore Diameter
#3 or #4 Contour
1-8 or 1-8.5 Twist
4 Groove
Length for a 24" Finish
Stainless

I wasn't thinkin' straight....need the .284" bore diameter for the 7 Mag.

Don’t think they will do a #3 in stainless.

I could be wrong but I thought a 7 mag uses a .284 bore diameter. Your correct. .277 is a 270 bore.

Great barrels if you can get what you are looking for. I have a 5 digit model 70 featherweight classic that I put a #3 Kreiger I think to make a 35 whelen. They only do it in chromoly, I remember. It flat out shoots! Loves 225 partitions
They will build you most anything you want if you call them up.

Don’t think they will do a #3 in stainless. You are correct. Krieger will not make a SS barrel under a number 4 contour. However they will start with a number 4 contour and taper down to a 3. I have ordered several barrels in this contour, in .264 caliber with a finish length of 24 inches.
