No it's my brothers property he bought in the 90's after it was logged off and now the new growth of maple are big enough to tap. We went through and cleaned out all the under brush, run lines' built the sugar house and bought equipment in 2015 and was making syrup in 2016

Here is a tip for those who enjoy Danny's syrup.
When finished with a jug, (I get half gallons) turn it on its side, take a sharp sturdy knife and about 2 inches from the bottom cut all the way around (be careful) to get to a wonderful layer of crystal maple candy than formed there.
What a treat!

Grumpy old man with a gun.....Do not touch . Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Don't bother my monument and I'll leave yours alone.

Hoping for a great season for you. Saw they were running trees in CT and MI last week.
I will get one of several orders to you in the next week or 2.
That store stuff is like comparing Coors light to a beer that actually has body and flavor.

What a treat! Man, I never thought of that! I love maple candy, always buy some when I go to our local festival. Thanks! Great to see pictures of the sugar camp in operation. I intend to keep doing my part in 2023.
