Yes indeed I was on the Local Bozo show on the TV station in Bangor Maine Live. 2nd or 3rd grade 71 or 72 Big thing for us to get on TV and do some weird gestures on the sly to friends watching on TV at home.
Got picked by that Damm clown during a commercial to do some ballet skit. My sole purpose was too hold a girls finger up in the air while she twirled around .
Nope... Not doing it..
Little quiff boy that he picked next, probably grew up to be a liberal socialist Democrat..... Got a SST racer prize for it.
Was kinda ticked, coulda took the razzing from my buds I was thinking.
But my jr man points remained intact at school the next day when I told my buds what went down. We all agreed a SST racer was not worth losing jr man points.
Never on the show Met Bo Zoe at a mall here that was popular in the 50's and 60's There was supposed to be some prize drawings, but something happened that the prizes didn't happen and a buncha kids started crying and such, and it got cut short. Met Icky Twerp and Ajax and the other one I can't remember Met Mr. Peppermint and he was handing out Halloween pumpkins and he handed me one and shook my hand and smiled for the camera and all that WOWWEE !
All that wholesome stuff is long gone along with all the old shopping malls around here. Too many hoodrats and norwegians that can't behave in a civilized manner or pay for their purchases
