I think they aren’t a good idea. If your old and have to wait for the damned water to drain out doesn’t sound like a winner. I think a whirlpool bathtub would be better.

Our daughter bought a house that had one. She thought it was neat at first but it lost its novelty in a hurry. She mostly just used it as a shower and finally replaced it with a real shower. It used a lot of water and time sitting there while it filled and drained. My mother considered one but luckily she wised up and just got a nice stool for her shower. If you have city water it can really add to your bill.
