I have been. I enjoy the show.

I am amazed at the government tentacles into every thing there. I cannot imagine how that country produces any ag commodity in any respectable amount.

I’m more of a livestock guy than a farmer. But fire away with ?s

Loved the first series- and when he showed up with the Lamborghini tractor.

Fun stuff and I cannot help but envy his lifestyle- warts and all.

Am enjoying season 2. Nothing woke or crusading. Just life and characters so good with the wife .

Tickles the she-eye-tee out of me when he does something and doesn't realize the consequences involved!
He bought cattle and expected them to "stay" in their pasture! LOL!
Yep! Pretty funny!
BUT....I do admire his determination to forge ahead when people of lesser character would cave in. That he's filthy rich helps....nor does it keep him from getting dirty!
Good show!

Thanks to all.
This response drives at what my questions start out with.

Does our government inject itself between Farmers/Ranchers (F/R going forward) ability to make profit to the extent that GB's does?
I mean FFS it seems ALL their .gov is concerned with is perpetuating bureaucracy as opposed to serving the people they are supposed to be helping?

I really enjoy watching the show but admit to it making me nuts with how constant the argument with every level of .gov their F/R's have to consistanly make?

Doing some research on I can't remember what, I stumbled into this!

https://www.cato.org/commentary/new-zealand-farmers-dont-want-subsidies

The U.S. should look into something like this!
A very interesting read! Especially if you're into agriculture!

It seems England is like here. Every farm or ranch area has a few kids that drive tractors, bale hay, while doing a little of their own on the side. And we had a guy just like the brick mason no one can understand. Best mechanic around but I could never understand a damned word he said when I was a kid. He would come by to do something to a tractor or truck when dad wasn’t around and I would just stand there and nod when he told me what he was there to do.

I can't stand that guy. He practically made a career out of shìtting on Americans at every opportunity on his car show. And of course the cockhole Brits ate it up.

"Oi! Gertrude! Come see the telly! Ol' Clarky is slagging on the Yanks again!"

Fùck that limey cùnt. I hope he gets ass-raped by a Brahma bull.
