I have found myself in need of another quality AR-15 since last weekends trip to the range with my Grandson! Prefer 16-20 inch barrel w/collapsable stock and lightweight handguard. Sure would like to have mine back......just got it where I really liked it. Please PM with what you have. Thanks
How can I tell you bye if you wont leave?

Budget is going to depend on quality and if the weight is excessive I can keep it and let him shoot mine for a couple of years.

Well my advise is to go to CDNN Sports. They currently have a special on a Bushmaster lightweight upper and also the barrel with low profile gas block and handguard with free shipping for $79. You cant really go much lighter than that one and Bushmaster is well known for it's quality and accuracy. They also have a complete lower but cant recall the price. Everything can be had for low $400 or so. Good Luck

JP Wilson Larue Les Baer All great rifles. Of these, the Les Baers are my most accurate. For budget lightweight M4, I have found it very hard to beat a S&W m&p15. $699 ish, Add a Larue trigger for $90 and you are good to go. Upgrade plastics if you want for another $100. I have done this to 3 of these rifles, and they are all 1” guns with Win 193 ammo.

Palmetto State Armory is a great place to start. They have about anything you can want for very fair prices.
