My Mod. 71 is up for sale and like new with a low round count. This rifle is beautiful, rich almost black bluing and dark rich figured walnut. Rifle is Ackley Improved to give extra thump for Alaska's moose, elk and big bears. Pics can be texted as I don't know how to post pics.
Barrel cut to 22" with a full length magazine tube that holds six rounds. Rebounding hammer removed so it can be put on half cock. The unobtrusive tang safety left in place as it is small and out of the way and requires deliberate action to use. Has a good trigger job and black Pachmayer Decelarator Sporting Clay's recoil pad installed. The rear sight is the XS Sights peep sight and the front sight is the XS with white line and flat top post.
Also included in sale price are custom made .348 AI dies from Whidden. Also, from Leather Gun Leather Works the rifle has a five round ammo holder with a grizzly bear featured on the black leather that attaches to the stock.
Who ever buys this beauty will have first crack at a bunch of Alaska Bullet Works Super Bonded heavy jacketed .348 bullets in 250 grain weight. These bullets have a tapering bonded jacket that is .025 at nose to .050 at the base of the bullet. Also have 100 pieces of new Starline .348 brass.
Asking $2,200.00 and I pay shipping to your FFL. I will take a personal check or USPS money order. First I will take it for $2,200.00 and a PM gets it. I will PM my phone number and want buyers phone number and will text pics.
Only possible partial trades I would be interested in are a high end Dan Wesson 1911 Govt. Mod. in .45 ACP.

Steve is amongst the best men I have ever met. He has more money into this than he's asking for it. His gunsmith took his time (1+ year) to make sure it was perfect.

Thanks for the kind words Dinny. If it don't sell I will try hard to put a 250 grain bonded Kodiak bullet through a moose's lungs this fall. Poor moose!
