All this talk about vintage geetars got me going through some videos. Some buddys playing at the Smokey mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville Tn.

Mike McGill is the front man with the whiskers. The other guy on the right with the hat, Scott Maddux, he’s the owner of the SMHD dealership.
They do a few covers but write and produce most of their own stuff.

We have several that play at local venues, some good some not so much. Have a local gal that sings under Pearl that can sing like Janis Joplin but screws up the other artists

The Mother Hips were from here and made a pretty big splash mid 90's. Got signed by American Records but got pushed to the back on promotion. I remember going to The Horde festival and watching them play on the B stage after Wilco.

One of their tunes was played as bumper music going to commercial at the Super Bowl the other day.
