Mike McGill is the front man with the whiskers. The other guy on the right with the hat, Scott Maddux, he’s the owner of the SMHD dealership. They do a few covers but write and produce most of their own stuff.
We have several that play at local venues, some good some not so much. Have a local gal that sings under Pearl that can sing like Janis Joplin but screws up the other artists
The Mother Hips were from here and made a pretty big splash mid 90's. Got signed by American Records but got pushed to the back on promotion. I remember going to The Horde festival and watching them play on the B stage after Wilco.
One of their tunes was played as bumper music going to commercial at the Super Bowl the other day.
