Can a Lee seating die for a std 223 be used to seat bullets in a 223AI? Is there enough room in the die for the larger shoulder?
What about a RCBS ...same situation

Thanks

only one way to tell...

Make a dummy round to see... If it doesn't work and can't chamber in your rifle...you can disassemble the dummy round easily with a kinetic
bullet puller and resize the brass....

Seems like to me, it would depend on how deep you seat your bullet...before you hit the shoulder...

I learn a lot by hillbilly mechanics on a lot of things in life... comes from growing up with depression era parents...

" use what you have! quit complaining what you don't have and make do with what you do have! "

" yes Mom... yes Dad"...

If it works, it can be used as a back up, if a die gets lost/ Misplaced for some reason ...

Give ya time to run down one that actually fits in the meantime...if ya want to use your rifle now...

With my folks farm depression attitudes, I had to learn to do a lot of work arounds growing up... Pain in the ass, but it does teach ya stuff...and makes ya think...
