This is another old one. So, stop me if you've heard this.

This young couple decide they want to join a church. So they go talk to the local pastor about it. He says he has a group of people going through the process right now and the young couple can join in. Pastor says, "we have this exersise we ask all prospective members to go through. We ask you to abstain from sex for 30 days and then come back and report on how it went." Everybody agrees, and they all go home. A month goes by, and they all go back to the church. First couple up are very old. Pastor asks them how it went. "Piece of cake" says the old man, "no problem at all". Next is a middle aged couple. They say, "it was pretty hard for the first couple of weeks, but we made it through." Pastor turns to the young couple and asks them how it went. Husband says, "Well it was hard but we did alright for the first day or two. Then she dropped the can of corn, and that was it. Couldn't help myself. "What" says the Pastor? "Yeah, she dropped the can of corn, and when she bent over to pick it up, well, nature took over. What can I say." "Well" says the Pastor, "I'm afraid you just won't be welcome in our church. I'm sorry". "That's alright" says the young man, "we're not really welcome at the supermarket anymore either."

Now you know Dan says he never lies and is beyond suspistion on such things ..... Lying is for the lowly ankle biters who don't have the world to gloat about.

Hope no one here shoots a 7 RSAUM Let alone a lowly 7-08 ... cause Dan will think your not a real man!!! 7mm RM is the absolute minimum a real man would shoot .... but a big man like dan shoots the 7 STW.

I try very hard to never go backwards in this life. I went from a 7MM Remington Magnum, to a 7MM STW and consider that a step in the right direction, maybe a 7MM ultra is in my future. I'm still man enough to carry and shoot a real magnum.

Did any of you guys ever read, Slaughter House Five. I forget who wrote it, but there is a part in there where there's a bunch of GI's captured by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge. They're on a train going to a POW camp, and this little guy named Frankie (I think) keeps telling everybody who crosses him, or he thinks crosses him, he's gonna have them killed by his mob friends, after the war. He's making a list, and if you're not careful he'll put you on the list. Now here's Dan having his henchmen do a high level investigation on a guy he thinks crossed him in cyberspace. Gonna tie up the guys money for years in court. Dan even feels a little sorry for the guy, but he's got to teach these jelous slobs a lesson. Then he's not talking to me. Then he's not talking to T. Though I'll get down on my knees and thank God every day for the rest of my life that Dan let us off the hook on that one. Point I'm trying to make here is, Dan reminds me of Frankie.

troublsom1, I been gone all day except for a quick pit stop or two, left the complicator on though. I give your joke a rating. But then coming from me, well....................

Y'all just remember the not so old Chinese Proverb:

Sometimes you are the winshield.
Sometimes you are the bug!

But then some of us bugs (AKA ankle biters) are resourceful.

Hey Moosie,

I liked your head up the butt picture. Though I didn't comment on it, it too reminded me of Danny.

Thanks for the kind thoughts T. Wonder why we haven't heard from the Danster all day? Must be out crushing a less afluent person, grinding a little old lady under his heel, taking candy away from some baby. Maby he found some puppies to poison.

Hey Troublsom1,

Slaughterhouse Five was written by Kurt Vonnegut. He's one of the darkest, most pessimistic writers I've run across - although I do enjoy reading some of his works. Cat's Cradle is an interesting one where the new form of crystallline ice (ice nine) ushers in the end of the world. (interesting from a scientific standpoint I guess because I'm a mechanical engineer - but not how I believe it will happen)

BTW, the last time I was down here you guys were at 7 pages ... wow now it's up to 16 and probably still climbing. I guess I'll go back for more chocolate cake.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was Kurt Vonnegut, or Kilgore Trout. Anyway, I've been thinking about it for days, how much Frankie reminds me of Dan.

7 malls would wear out anybody. What is it about women, that they can shop for hours like that? Tomorrow should be interesting. Either there will be lots of news or no news at all. No matter how this turns out, bet or no bet, you seldonm run accross such a clear cut looser. Even if the boy has all the money he claims he has, I wouldn't want to be him. Feels strange to get such a clear impression from someone you've never met. Good nite T.

Well, I managed to read about half of a novel I started in the morning, and they did buy me lunch at a pretty nice joint! I think the shopping thing in women comes from the beginnings when they hunted for nuts, berries and the like. Seems to be ingrained obssive behavior to me!

I can hardly wait for the drama to resume, if it does that is, maybe ol' Danny boy has folded tent and stolen off into the night. If not, I am ready for him.

How interesting, we're being read on the other side of the planet. Actually I think you missjudge IIFID. I don't know the man personaly, but I think he was just reacting to someone who was behaving like the worst sort of American. By all accounts IIFID is a desent sort. Actually, I don't know any of these guys. Funny how you can learn to like or dislike people just by reading a few lines. Thanks for the kind words.

You're proubably right. It's an evolution thing. Women learned to carefully select the very fattest beetles and grubs, while we learned to settle for the first Mamoth we could poke with a sharp stick, and get away with it. Requires further study.
