Looking to pick up a Havak Hit in 6GT for [bleep] and giggles.
Any of you have any time with the Havak Hit? Opinions?

Have one in 6.5Moo and I like it a lot. Though I have very little to compare it with. (meaning chassis rifles)

Thanks. I’ve been out with mine twice now. Not gonna lie...as of now I wish I would have gotten another Cross instead.

Tell us more. I’ve been thinking of the HIT and heard nothing but positive for the dollar

Some of my regret is just preference. I would have like the barrel contour to be more Sendero like. It’s wears a M24 profile.
That’s no biggie and I knew it going in.
Wish a 2K rifle didn’t come with a polymer mag.
Another no biggie.
BUT that brings me to real issues. Feeding. Fed her factory Hornady ammo. 109ELDs
Whether mag held one or five rounds, first round won’t feed properly. Haven’t figured out what it’s doing exactly but I’m having to double stroke the bolt. First round leaves the mag but isn’t finding the chamber. Having to back off the bolt a little and and finish the action. This happens no matter what tempo I worth the bolt.
I’ll try a different mag next time.

Yes it’s new but I cleaned everything well and used some Boretech friction guard on the bolt.
The bolt isn’t as smooth as I thought it should be. Actually feels like a action that’s really gritty and needs cleaning. I’m betting it will slick up after a few more rounds are ran.

Accuracy is good. Even with cleaning every few rounds it’s shooting consistently around half min. The 6GT is a fun little round to shoot.
