Yes, we bought one when the kids left home. Replaced it with a new one a few years ago, when I remodeled the kitchen. First was a Kenmore, the new one is Kitchen Aid. The first i gave to a friend who couldn't afford one. The second was purchased because the boss wanted stainless.

Had a Bosch until the lightning hit the house a few weeks back. Much better than the one I married 12 years ago.

For the Bosch users. Open the door at the end of the washing and rinsing cycles and the hot dishes and utensils will dry pretty quick. Just crack it open a couple inches.

Bought one new w/home, never used it once. Me & wife can wash dishes faster by hand vs loading & unloading dishwasher. We keep large amount of disposable plates/cups for party’s

Yes and my wife insists on using it. I was, by hand, as I cook. I hand wash plates and silverware, it only takes a few minutes. So I guess we have two, the machine and me.

Single working guy, run mine about once every 2 weeks. Plates, bowls, silverware, glasses etc.
Wore one out, replaced it pronto.
As stated above, quieter and cheaper than the 2 legged kind.

By the time I rinse and/or wipe and stack things in the racks, I can have all dirty dishes and utensils washed and rinsed and stacked on a towel ready to dry and put away the old fashioned original way. I've used the machine a bunch, but wouldn't have a new one if an old one needed replacement. They use a lot of electricity and water too

We have one. It gets used anywhere from twice a week to three times a day depending on whether kids are home and other factors. I couldn't tell you what kind it is, but it does a good job. We try to keep up with cleanliness around here.

Pretty sure less than 5 gallons for a standard load.

I read about a young guy who bought a condo. He was making good money. He installed a second DW next to the one already there. He'd run a load, then use dishes out of it as needed. When he was done, he'd put the dirty ones in the 2d DW. When it was full, he'd run it and use dishes out of it and they'd go back in the 1st DW. He never unloaded either of them or put any dishes away.
