I just bought a Rem 600 and went with the cheaper option of available brass.
Anything I should watch out for or expect with this combination?
I’m planning on running 50 grain blitz and benchmark.

All the Prvi brass I've used has been decent. It ain't Lapua, but it makes me think of Winchester brass from days of old.

PPU is all I use in my 222. It's just an old club 840, so I see no sense putting premium brass through it. Accuracy is fine, and I've never had problems with it, but I'm just shooting a fairly CFE BLK load.

I am a huge 222 fan and would never use that brass in my rifles.......that said if all your brass is from the same lot you will probably be OK, 50 grain blitz and Benchmark works OK also...50gr blitzking and N130 works even better

Super fine ball powder... it's almost like dust. I got it primarily for my Blackout, which is was it was originally designed for, but it shoots really well in the 222

I haven't tried it in a Hornet (haven't owned one in ages) but it shoots really well in my 218 Bee with the same 30gr Varmint Grenades I'm using in the 222.

I never did understand the hype over brass but maybe I'm missing something. Just keep your brass grouped together by manufacturer and you will be fine. You will probably find case capacity variances between manufacturers and that will affect pressure/accuracy so that is why we don't mix brass. I know you want to shoot 50 gr bullets but the .222 really shines with 40s.

Agreed on the 40’s.

What do you want from your 40s, explosiveness or killing power?

More killing power, hopefully minimal fur damage on cats and coyotes.

My rifle shoots the 40 gr Vmax bullets noticeably better than the ballistic tips. For powders RE7 is tops but IMR 4198 and H4198 work almost as well. I would like to try LT30/32 but I'll need to burn through what I already have before trying something new. At around 21 grs/round that may take a while.
