This is a sweet shooting unit that has no trouble shooting sub MOA. I wish I'd kept up with all the data from range days, but it appears to have been lost as of now. The barrel was identified as a Shilen, but I did not buy the barrel from the original retailer so I cannot confirm. Receiver has a nice glass bedding and the trigger consistently breaks around the 3lb mark with no noticeable creep.
The stock does appear to have been refinished at some point before my time and the barrel has some "oops" marks toward the muzzle from it's days in the field. This was built to be a hunting rifle, not a bench gun or safe queen. This gun will make someone an excellent unit with a head start on performance at the range or in the field. Gun weigh's in only 5oz heavier than my unmodified 7mag.
